Built the FG085 kit last night and everything went just fine. I was able to power up without any issues. I worked my way through the various waveform functions easily. I did not test the output at that time. This morning I went to power up my FG085 to verify the waveforms at output but the unit had a dark screen. I adjusted the contrast pot but still saw nothing on the screen. So I re-flowed all of the solder joints on the main board to header to screen board. Still nothing upon power up! Even after adjusting the contrast pot again. Can anybody help? I performed the following measurements with 14.79 volts applied to power IN: Y1 to GND=0 Y1 to OUTPUT + =5.58V +5V to GND=1.2V V- to GND=-1.09V V+ to GND=+13.84V these readings are for the 16 pin header (in volts): pin 1=0 2=1.02 3=1.02 4=1.01 5=0 6=0 7=1.01 8=1.01 9=1 10=1 11=1 12=1 13=1 14=1 15=1 16=0 I hope that this series of measurements will make sense to someone! I would very much like to be able to use this device. It currently sits useless. A good paperweight. Thanks!
