Strange output on miniDSS

Post by TSChris »

I have a FG085 miniDSS that has a really strange output on an oscilloscope. We've confirmed that the scope is set up and working properly by using another signal generator and get the expected results with that. The problem is that it appears as if the lower part of the wave form is being clipped off and shifted up in amplitude. (See attached image)
Anyone know what would be causing this?

Thank you, Chris

Can you change scope to DC couple so as the DC level of signal can be seen? Did you see any change if you use different amplitude and offset settings?

OK, Changing to DC coupling fixed the offset issue, but we still have the odd wave form. Any idea what could be causing this?

Sorry I couldn't figure out the cause. Did you purchase it as a kit or assembled? Please contact us at jyetech@163.com if you want a replacement.
