Counterfeit 062?

Post by mwm »

On looking at my 062 kit, the LCD module does not have any signal labels on it, just pin 1 on one side. Could this be a counterfeit?

Can you post photo showing the board?

Ok, I've attached images of the component side of both the LCD module and the main board.

Thank you for the photos. This board doesn't look counterfeit. The LCD was from a different supplier and has different markings.

In that case, I think I have a dead lcd module. It doesn't light up at all. I'll post voltages tomorrow, but most of them seemed ok, though many were 1 volt higher than listed, which I assume is because I use a 10 volt ps.

But for now, which side should the 20 pin header be attached to? The assembly instructions say the side with the signal labels, but this module has no signal labels on it, just the two pin numbers 1 and 20.
