Incorrect voltage level readings with all signals

Post by BartPcb »

Hi there,

I'm having some troubles getting my DSO150 kit to work (official kit). I'm not sure if the kit is just broken or if my soldering is bad.
  • I checked all resistors for their values and those were correct.
  • I used both a 9V battery and a 9 volt DC supply.
  • I did multiple VPOS alignments.
  • I checked SENSEL0 - SENSEL3 readings according to the troubleshooting topic.
  • I also checked AV+ and AV- and the other voltage reference points.

All readings were correct and in their acceptable ranges.
I'm a bit out of ideas and disappointed this shell is so hard to get working.
The only times the signal seems to change is when I change the resolution from 0.2V/div to 0.5/div. I.E. all voltage divisions > 0.5V look the same as 0.5V and all < 0.2V look the same as 0.2V. My rotary encoder is also not working very well, I need to push it a bit in for it to work properly. I have attached some pictures of my test signal, I hope someone can point me into the right direction. If you need anymore information please let me know.

Turns out my soldering was bad on one of the male header pins that connects the analog board to the main board, fixed it now.
