V4 voltage is correct but positive

I have positive voltage on V4, the voltage is correct but positive not negative. I also can only scroll in one direction. It will not scroll back the opposite way. I the have to reset it to start over, hold down sec/div and trigger! I also have no test pattern. I am thinking it's due to the V4 being positive. I have checked resistors as stated in trouble shooting. They really need to include a schematic! Any thoughts????

Thanks for that, the paperwork said negative!

It was a "~" sign but looks like a "-" sign.
