"*SOLVED*" Seems to "Lose" it's Firmware???

Got a Shell a while back. Used a few times. A few days ago it started acting up. Was not reading right, not responding correctly, then EEPROM message, the unable to boot fully, then nothing but backlight.

Managed to get FW reloaded but it only lasted a few minutes. It's a progressive disease starting with a few fluctuations ending in White Screen.

I didn't realize a dry cell was that weak. A linear wall wart at 9V 300ma seems to run it fine.

What filter would you fabricate? Power Wart is a bit dirty.
