Alternative firmware

Has anyone tried this alternative firmware?

It was already mentioned here in this forum, but that was almost a year ago, and it seems to be maintained by the author (last change was 21 days ago).
There's no compiled version easily accessible in the github (which is a problem for me), but somebody posted a binary here.
It adds the possibility of having up to 3 digital channels added to the analog one.
