I had earlier problem with the device described in a thread below
https://www.jyetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1551
Since than I flashed new hex and restored about the right voltages:
battery while connected 7,57
3.3v checked
V+ 6.67 V1 0
V- 5.83 V2 0
AV- -4.99 V3 0
AV+ 5.05
Curve and signal generator, after the update, sort of worked, that is showed up on the display, jumping between flat and square all the time.
Later signal generator went mute - position of the switch takes no effect. Curve showed up several times, after booting, a the bottom of the display, than sky rocked to never come back (just like tesla ).
Here you can take a look on how it chokes - https://youtu.be/TimOk-rfwJA

Any hint where to look for errors?

How about the voltage of V4? Which version firmware is it running now? Can you post photo showing timebase and trigger settings?
Sorry I am unable to open Youtube since I am in China.

V4 is 1.70V
I updated to a hex sent to me together with activation code from JYE 113-15001-113.hex
Entire interface is flickery, as it was before update
Switch on AC and GND on the display
Once I click Trigger or OK HOLD lits up and it is not possible to return to RUNNING without rebooting

I couldn't see the images since they are on Google drive. Maybe the trigger mode was set at "SING". Please make sure trigger mode is at AUTO and set timebase to 1ms or so.

That the exact settings I have, even on the images something is really wrong with my device. Is there any longer description over how it operates? like a flow chart or a block diagram? I only found this schematic, but it doesn't explain operation.https://www.jyetech.com/Products/LcdSco ... _Shell.pdf
BTW, what services I can use that are visible for you guys? I mean images and video?

I uploaded video to a Japanese site, should be unlocked in China

The "T.S. Amp" is constantly shifting between 0.1 and 3.3 V.
Whatever is wrong with it, it must be on the main board, all symptoms are present regardless the analog board.

I did some progress. Sig-gen is still out. Interface is now functional. Trace is laying flat on the top of the screen.

Re: No sig-gen and no trace - voltages about ok
Damn it! I was writing an e-mail with case description. I wrote down all the measurements, with my 9V battery (below 8V). Than I thought it would be better to keep the battery voltage near to the value shown in the manual. I set up my power supply to 9.05v and ICL7660 went with smoke! ..but ...but whY?
just ordered 10pcs

Have you sorted the problem out?I have same problem of trace in extreme belo screen as there is always a -ve voltage offset shown on screen even at gnd position for sw1

No I did not. But I have a theory why I blew voltage regulator. I want to make sure it's what I think and follow up, so I wait for ordered parts.
