EEPROM Failed

Good evening everyone ! I buy dso shell from Banggood and they send to this forum to solve my problem. Before I start to assembled , I check it and everything was fine until step 5 . When I start to calibrate it , from this time the screen shows ***Read EEPROM failed***. I read all the topics in this forum and maybe I need update . Could please anyone say how can I do this ? Also , after update , noticed that something go wrong and always have white screen. If I have this results I want to send this dso shell back and refund me.

You need a USB-UART interface. Buy it online, but do your research, I had one that didn't work so I need to order different one. If you find this, probably you will find a guide how to do it as well, there is many of those.

Hi, if You didn't solve the issue with the error, check the rotary encoder.
Desolder it from board, power up. If system boots in normal state - encoder is wrongly mounted.

The issue I have with one unit, desoldering the encoder solve the problem - was wrongly mounted on the small board.
