DSO 15001K, LED D1 flashes after boot before assembly

Hi,

According to the DIY kit description the D1 LED should flash two times during boot. In my case it flashes three times and then it constantly flashes fast.
Is this normal? What is shown on the display seems to match the description, so everything seems fine there. Should I assemble it, or should I consider the behaviour mismatch as a malfunctioning unit? I don't want to void the warranty.

I had exactly the same (running FW110 and HW ver E ) but assembled it and works fine

What you saw is correct and normal. Once the scope enters its normal working state the LED flashes as trigger is detected. You see LED flashing because the noises at ADC input constantly cause triggers.
