DOS Shell NG gives " *** Read EEPROM failed ! "

I am unfamiliar with the STM32F103C8 48pin chip that operates the LCD
Does any USER know where I can get information to an "EEPROM" contained in the STM32F103C8 48pin chip ?

I have the following problem with the < DSO Shell DIY Kit; Applicable models 15001K> purchased from < Banggood>
" in the DSO Shell < Assemble Front Module > I connected +9v power supply (battery in this case )
the following LCD screen display appeared:
(a) White screen 1/2 sec
(b) DSO shell (red)... 1/2 sec
(c) DSO shell... white, black background 1/2 sec
(d) screen with grid lines 1/4 sec
(e) " *** Read EEPROM failed ! "

Could be the error related to the external EEPROM (U2-24LC32A)?

In this case, you could check if it's correctly soldered to the PCB

Run the unit from a more stable and better 9v source could just be just your battery is not too good before you get too involved

Please try the new firmware (version -111) before further hardware troubleshooting. This issue could be related to the bug that the version -111 fixed.
