Frequency measurement

Hello. I have successfully assembled the latest "E" version of the DSO Shell kit with the 113-15001-061 firmware.
I noticed that the measured frequency value changes when the ADJ encoder is rotated in either direction while being in the SEC/DIV mode, so the measured frequency ranges from the real value to some absurd values. Is that a normal behavior to this DSO?

The frequency measurement was based on counting of edges in a frame of data that cross over the level of average voltage. Different timebases have different sampling rate. So frequency reading can be quite different if data sampled with different rates mix up in one frame. Frequency reading can be wrong too if signal is noisy because there could be many extra edges.
