DSO150 versus inverter 12v 220v

Post by ruru »

hello

two week ago i bought an original(the code are the same in the pcb and at the boot) DSO150...very nice, with a probe x100 i can see the 3.3 square wave and also the 1.1 square wave (with a sensibility of 5mV).

I'm trying to see if i have a real pure sinusoidal inverter but the waveform is very bad, you can see the video.

So...may be that the problem is the oscilloscope?Or is there really that quantity of noise?

If the same scope setup is used to check live 220V power and you got good waveform then that indicated the scope is correct. The noise should be from the inverter. Most inverters are based on switching mode technology. Containing high frequency noises are likely.

Did you apply a load to the inverter while making the measurement? The inverter may require a minimum load for the waveform to clean up.

ok, with another inverter formware is perfect.

This dso is a very good oscilloscope, around 700volt peak without problems 8-)
