Answering whether I want to lug out the big tek scope or look elsewhere when troubleshooting. I am sure each of us has done our own battery mods, I figured I'd make a gallery showing mine even though there is nothing really surprising about it.

I added a 6 AA battery holder to the back. pretty straightforward, I originally speced out something crazy involving LiFePO4 batteries but then when I started I realized it was kind of overkill so took the simple route. It actually gives the scope a really nice heft.
