Hi.
I have experimenting with this little useful tool.
I'm upgraded firmware to latest -060 version.
Everything is of for time-bases faster then 20ms. V ofset is calibrated.
But when i switch to 50ms and slower V offset goes to negative and readed values are way off. Is this a firmware problem or may be something hardware related?
Wrong V position on 50ms and slower time bases
Re: Wrong V position on 50ms and slower time bases
Hello!
I'm having the same problem. I reset DSO to default settings (hold 2 buttons), then set coupling to GND, then calibrate Vpos (hold Vsen button). Then I see that at timebases faster than 50ms the trace stays at 0, but at timebases slower than 50ms it shifts about 2 div down. The error does not depend on Vsen and is always about 2 div.
Also resetting the trigger level always sets the trigger to that wrong Vpos (about 2 div lower) even at timebases faster than 50ms.
I have checked the digital board without analog and the results are the same.
I'm also at version 060.

Re: Wrong V position on 50ms and slower time bases
This was caused by wrong initialization of capture buffer. If you wait long enough to let the wrong data be overwritten by incoming data you'll see correct display. This is a firmware bug for which we'll quickly release a fix.
