V-, AV- and C5

Post by Jief »

Hi,

I just finished to assemble my DSO 150. Seems to work !
but :

1)
V+=8.26V , AV+=6.86V V4 , V4=1.41 and V5=-0.97. Nearly pefect, isn't it ?
BUT V- and AV- are a bit more negative than it should. V- = -7.47 instead of -7.14. AV- = -5.84 instead of -5.55. If I disconnect R27, V- = 8.24V.
Doc says that AV- is acceptable between -4.5V and -8V. What about V- ? Is it fine ? On the schematics, V- seems only used to produce AV-, so as long as AV- is fine, V- is, am I right ?

2)
Sorry, I asked a question about C5, but it was in the FAQ. C5 do nothing for me either, but waveform is good. I am lucky ! ;)

3)
Trigger set to auto, the waveform is constantly slightly moving right and left. Is that normal ? Is it the same for other users ? Not complaining, just asking...

It's a great product. Perfect for what I am doing at an unbeatable price. Thanks.

Regards,
Jief
