zermin from jyetech@163.com requested a photo of the Banggood board that appears to be fake.
A link to the item is http://www.banggood.com/DSO138-DIY-Digi ... 84002.html
The order date was July 9th 2015 and I received it July 23

Thanks for the photo. This board should be original.

I purchased the BangGood board too and it appears genuine (in that it has the teardrop-shaped pads) but it did not ship with the x50 firmware, rather it included the x46 firmware.

It also did NOT include a parts list for the SMD parts, so I had to download one from your website in order to figure out where to solder them.

I realize that the board "should be original" However, it does NOT
match the image you posted with tear drops. Even without tear drops,
IS my board a JYEtech original?

Banggood ordered DSO138 kits directly from us since the end of August. The board shown in the photos above was from JYE Tech. Tear drops are not easy to see due to the white circle printing. You can scratch off and check. For pads with tear drops it is easier to check the pads of pushbuttons.

My DSO138 kit i bought from ebay did not have DSO138 in screenwriter on it at all , thought it does have the teardrops and full printed in color documentation, my only problem was resistors r11 and r38 were marked as 1.5k, but i received 1.5ohm , I did some searching and found this was an upgrade do give a clearer signal?

I have the latest firmware "113-13801-050" installed.

Anyway i constructed my DSO138 and it works fine, no problems, I have linked a photo of the mostly bare DSO138 pcd i received.

My complete board in the link below.

And an USB 5V to 9V adapter i bought for £4 to power my DSO138 from any usb power source.

EDIT: I have added photo`s of the firmware/boot screens.

Looks this is a higher level clone and they cracked the firmware.

The software is not cracked. Just uploaded from a genuine one.
That's why it is not a good idea to bother genuine users with not delivering the updated software.
