They do not take any responsibility of the products they sell. It is encouraged that buyers stay away from these sellers.

Does anyone know if this is fake or not?

http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/IeQVZbYZF

This is the seller, called Areyourshop:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/1934350

They refuse to send additional pictures or any information on firmware, etc. I'm looking for fully assembled kit :)

this, pic from their listing: http://g03.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1q4K3JVXX ... XFXXXR.jpg

shows there is blank in the area stick/serial appears... appreciate any tips/help on that seller, or where i can find fully assembled.

This kit is counterfeit. No product ID. And no JYE Tech PCB manufactured like that.

ok, thanks. when confronted, they wrote:

Code: Select all

Hello
This is not original product, please do not buy
Best regards
lin
who reports this to aliexpress? found only "IPR Protection" report, for intellectual property rights, but if this is claimed as 'open source' , is that the right report? couldn't find a category for 'counterfit'..

also, where can I purchase a fully assembled DSO138?

well, i reported, but aliexpress came back and said this is not a violation of their intellectual rights policy.. I guess it is sort of "OK" by their standard to "copy", by this time, there are so many fakes, everyone claims to be the "real" and no1 knows who's the original owner :) not just, just guessing that's what they're thinking, this is happening on cloths, on everything.. they just copy and mass produce, flood.. hard to stop them.
