TP22 reasing 4.65 volts?

Post by adamc »

Hey guys, it is my first time building the kit, but it seems that I've done something wrong. When I do a voltage test on TP22, i'm seeing 4.67, instead of the 3.3 expected. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? (ignore the photo's reading, it read 4.9 when i didn't have the dial all the way on to resistance mode).

The way by which you measured voltage is incorrect. Usually voltage is measured by placing negative pen on GND and positive pen on the point of interest.

Haha! Thanks, As you can tell, I'm new to a lot of this.

Once I measured it the right way, it came up close.

My problem now - I get the screen to come on, but no trace.

Av- 0.65

Av+ 4.9

3.3 3.3

5 4.98

V1 4.9

V2 1.3-3.3

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

There was something wrong with AV-. You need to correct that first. Please see this post viewtopic.php?f=18&t=455 .
