Follow ups

Post by NMNeil »

There dosn't seem to be any.
I appreciate that the staff at JYE are very busy but it would be nice if we could get answers to some of our problems. Looking at the various postings some are many months old without a single reply from anyone at JYE.
Dosn't inspire confidence in the company for anyone considering buying one of their products if there is no customer support.

What you said is true. There are a couple of reasons that cause us slow or even no response to the forum. One major reason is time. We have only one person (myself) to answer forum questions. Most of time we only answer technical questions and leave troubleshooting question for other users (hopefully) to answer. Another major reason that make us reluctant to answer DSO138 related questions is the flooding counterfeits. It is estimated that more than 50% users who asked questions on the forum were fake kit buyers, although they didn't know they were buying counterfeit at the time of purchase. We really don't want to spend time to help counterfeiter to get sale. To solve this problem we will release a new model - DSO138mini - very soon. The existing DSO138 will be discontinued gradually. So for new purchase DSO138 is not recommended.

It would be rather nice if you finished correcting and debugging the "Triggering at 50ms per division and below" firmware first, for those of us who bought genuine DSO138s in good faith.
