Just roll back to version -40 which does not have the bug and you lose nothing. -040 is the same as -046 for use. The latter contains changes for production testing only.
We can provide upgraded chips that have been soldered on PCB. The chip needs to be on PCB in order to program and test. Please contact us at jyetech@163.com

The discounted kit is a complete kit (PN# 13804K) which has only the MCU presoldered. All the rest components are left for user.
