How to turn off DSO 112A with the button?

Hello,
when I try to shut off my DSO 112A with the button (long press) I get to the point where it asks "Power off?" (waiting for screen press), and below: " Alternatively: Hold power button: Yes"
If I hold the power button, the DSO 112A only restarts, I'm not able to shut it down with the button only, what am I missing or doing wrong?

At the power-off screen you can touch the Yes button to confirm poweroff. In case touch panel doesn't work long press the P button will shut off the device.

Yes and this works fine, but if I have my finger already on the button I would like to use the second option (long press).

And this I can not accomplish, have you actually tried it?

Yes we did. Under any state long long press (> 15s) the P button will also turn off the device.
