Not cursor in OSC mode

Post by termin »

I have lost cursor my DSO 068 in OSC mode, with metering have seen, lost -5V,I think not outgoing from BOB5 , with metering resistance
1Kohm from -5V to Gnd, with separating BOB5 outgoing -5V instead become 0V.
What can I do int this case?

Please correct me if I did not understand your question right. Did you mean BOB5 output 0V when connected to the circuit, but output -5V when disconnected? If this was the case please check the +5V voltage with BOB5 connected to the main board (i.e. when BOB5 output 0V).

Sorry, not, -5V all time lost, if BOB5 unloaded (Output connection -5V from BOB5 unsolded, others 3 not) Ihave metering on
BOB5 panel output 0V instead -5V.
Before DSO068 working well.

Thank you for clarifying. That means BOB5 might have been damaged. Did you see any opens? The DC-DC chip MC34063 has over current protection so it is not easy to get burnt.
