DSO 068 light, beeper does not work

Connected everything as directed using the instructions.

Went to test the system for test 1
I have +5V,
LED and Beeper does not work when I press SW12

I checked -5v and it reads 0V

Did you close JP4? JP4 need to be shorted permanently after +5V tested good.

JP4 was closed but I resoldered all the connections and now it works. Thank you. I finished the kit last night and it is all good.

I have another question. The USB to UART converter has a place for a usb connector, does it need this?

No, the connector is not required. The footprint was for a connector when the tiny board is to be used standalone.
