DSO068 Working 100% now the Adj dial and buttons wont work

I have had the completed unit working and everything seems to work fine for the last 2 weeks.
Originally I had a problem with the crystal not working, straight out the box! I replaced it with a
higher freq one I had laying around. everything worked nicely until yesterday I noticed that the Adj
dial and all the buttons no longer do anything. I try tried to reset the device by pushing SW12 on boot.
nothing changed. Its a mystery how it worked for a few weeks and then just died. the actual screen
still shows a wavelength but I can't adjust the wave using the adj dial or any of the buttons...
Got any ideas on how to get the scope back into working order?

I have read the instructions on the thread, left me even more confused!
i found a youtube video that shows how to do the reset,
it explains the process very clearly, and my scope is working again.

The scope is broken again. I've done the reset procedure and the scope worked for
a short 5 minutes. now it broken again, that is the Adj dial and buttons do not respond.
though I'm still getting a waveform on the screen.
Any other tips on how to reset the device besides jumping PF6 in J7 with GND in J5. with a 1k resistor?

Were you using battery to power the unit? Can you check the power supply voltage and see if it is good?

Using USB cable supplied with the device for power. not using a battery yet.
power supplied via a 5V USB power supply.
All voltage test pass, +5v under JP4 on the board shows 5V.

Please check R24 for possible open. It is the connection of Keypad MCU (U5) and the main MCU (U4). If it is open U4 won't getting keypad messages.

R24, its a resistor at this position. without removing it from the board I cannot tell if its working
properly. while connected to the board I get a 1k resistance

Thanks, but after tinkering and doing as few resets
i've got the device working again.. or so it seems,I will play with
it over the next week or so and see if its fixed or I just got lucky.
If I still have a problem I will drop you an email for replacement.
