what does JP9 do?

I have managed to make several dumb mistakes in this DSO 068 build. For starters, I've managed to pull the JP9 pads off the circuit board. I could fix this by running wire jumpers between whatever or components JP9 is meant to connect but I can't find JP9 on the schematic.

Please tell me... what is JP9 meant to connect?

JP9 connects the digital ground and analog ground.
