Power Up test 1 failed !HELP!

Post by slope »

Dear all,

need some help with my DSO068 kit. I have soldered all the parts and also controlled them. Now I am at the point to do the the first power up test. Unfortunately it failed. After I pressed the switch SW12, the LED blinks once and the buzzer beeps once. But I didn't get the second blink or beep by buzzer. The voltages that I´have read out with multimeter:

+5V around JP4 = 5.04V
V- around LED = -4.98V
V5 = 3.57V
AV+ = 5.00V
AV- = -4.87V
V3 = -2,42V
V2 = 0V
V4 = -2.97
VB = 0.52V
VT = 2.34V
V1 = 0V
VA = 4.97V
LCD PIN 18 = -5.03V
SYSCLK = -2.58
VS+ = 4.25V
V+ = 4.25V
VBUS = 4.95V

- All BOB´s are installed.
- Have already replaced the crystal by an 16Mhz replacement. Nothing changed.

Any suggestions? or help? because would love to finish my small project :).

Greetings!

Some voltages at the analog section do not look good. But they are not relevant to the digital section functioning. Since one beep was heard that indicated bootloader was running. The MCU might stuck at somewhere not entering the main program. It is suggested to continue install the LCD to see what is displayed and test buttons.

I faced same failure. I followed the advice, and then I found the LCD showed a version of boot loader. It could be recovered by flashing the firmware in my case. (I needed to clear eeprom memory as well. )
Just for your information.
