ASSY 2 and ASSY 3

Do ASSY 2 and ASSY 3 need to make electrical connections between the LCD and the PCB, or are they there just to provide mechanical support to the LCD?

One of the pins in ASSY 2 came out of the plastic body. Do I need to reinsert it to make an electrical connection?

ASSY2 and ASSY3 do not have electrical connection. They are for mechanical support only.
