DSO-068 stuck in logo screen

Post by Vlad1 »

Bought and assembled DSO-068 couple weeks ago (so I guess it has latest firmware).
It worked well for awhile.
And yesterday when I turn it on it shows boot screen, then logo screen and does not switch to scope screen.
I've tried to reset EEPROM (connect J7 - PF6 to ground and power up) - it didn't help, unit is still in the same screen. Pressing ADJ button does not bring device menu.
See attached picture of screen. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi, I'd try to reflash the firmware and see if this helps.

Thank you, Mod1966, - re-flashing oscilloscope revived it. Works well now :)
Also got e-mail reply from tech support with same advise.

Hello.
I have the same story, but. After desoldering involved, sometimes buggy, but worked.
Spent two, three months, and now after turning once zooms and gets illuminated on the firmware version number the first version. And all unresponsive.
To test the Jp6 is not responding. All digital and analog power checked. OK. The driver and the firmware program installed on the computer. Comport assigned.
When trying to flash via USB as standard with 10 plants, 50 connections are not responsive. Everything falls into option picture 7 in the instructions for the firmware.
What options?

The inclusion of closed PF6 GND and no result whatsoever.
I think so. I need step by step instructions global firmware.
USBASP is available.
