JyeLab sees COM port but can't connect to 094 oscilloscope

Post by dimivan »

Hi!
I have 094 with latest firmware, CP210x driver and jyeLab 0.70.
When I'm trying to connect jyeLab to my device, I get this message:

Code: Select all

COM3 found
COM3 selected
Baudrate set to 115200 bps

--- Opening COM3 with baudrate 115200 bps
COM3 open successful
Connecting ...
Re-trying ...
*** No device detected ! ***
COM3 closed
Serial port closed
Serial port closed
I tried to change COM port number, to set baudrate in jyeLab to 9600 as it set in device manager, but still nothing.

When I connected to COM port with telnet, I got silence on that port. Oscilloscope sends these bytes while loading and then just nothing. I don't know if it's ok.

Code: Select all

42 4C 0D 0A A3 44 28 FB 4A 00 25 21 10 91 E3
21 21 21 05 90 10 A8 09 FF
I tried to do this at Win 7 x64 on my computer and then at Win XP 32bit installed in VirtualBox on Macbook but nothing changed.
Please help

The baudrate of DSO094 is user selectable. Did you check whether it matches that on jyeLab? The baudrate is accessible via menu button.

Today I have downloaded version 0.40 and it worked! That gave me a hope.
I understood that default baudrate on the device is set to 38400. When I tried this preference in version 0.7, I've got a connection to DSO but channels hasn't appeared on the screen.
I tried version 0.61 and everything worked ok. So this is my solution.

PS. At my previous post I mentioned device manager in Windows. There baudrate set to 9600, and how I understand now it has no influence.
