Could you please explain "waiting" and "holdoff"? Are they related to Single mode triggering?

I believe the issue of skipped clicks on the encoder may result from the type of encoder chosen. Some encoders go through an entire cycle of both switch positions from one detent to the next. So they have the same number of pulses per revolution as detents per revolution, and are always both-switche...

I'm waiting for someone more adventurous than me to tell me that the firmware flash process works ok, and that the new firmware itself works well. The first post in this thread didn't inspire confidence.

I've ordered a DSO Shell from Banggood, and am concerned about having the right power supply. So a couple questions: 1. I have a 9VDC power adapter, which reads 9.24V under a 100mA load. Is that too high? I see in the schematic that the power input goes through a diode, which will have a forward vol...
