Re: Measurement errors with x10 probe on large negative sign
Hello MatNieuw, I think your solutions could be made to work but would add more to the product cost than JYE Tech would be willing to accept. A answer to your particular need could be to make your own scope probe. The homemade probe would be a voltage divider. 1 megohm over 10.5K would be reasonably...

Re: Measurement errors with x10 probe on large negative sign
Hello MatNieuw, You have done a very good job of describing the problem and suggesting a solution. There is a typo, the opto-isolator part number should be AQV216S. As you say there could be problems with using a MOSFET switch including capacitance and leakage current. There are inexpensive low curr...

Re: Triggering at 50ms per division and below
I haven't seen any new problems with the version of the latest -065 firmware. The auto-centered positions still don't store over a reset but that's minor. I would like to suggest adding a roll mode for the slower sweep speeds. It would get around the long holdoff problem. Roll mode: The latest data ...

Re: Triggering at 50ms per division and below
Thanks Gyro, It works much better now. I had checked the filename of the file I downloaded earlier against the name in the Sept 02 post and they matched. I didn't realize they would issue a new version with the same name. Today I also replaced the reverse voltage protection diode with a P-channel mo...

Re: Triggering at 50ms per division and below
I have upgraded my DSO138 with mixed results. My USB to RS232 bridge arrived from MPJA.com today. Their part # is 12389 CB. It installed itself automatically into Windows 10 when connected. I made a cable to connect the bridge to the scope. Counting the ground pin on either connector as pin 1 it was...

Re: Maximum input voltage
The maximum input voltage of the amplifier IC is + or - 5volts. However JYE Tech claims the 100K R1 resistor in series on the 10 mV scale protects it up to 50 volts. In the 0.1 volt range the voltage to the IC is divided by 10 so max voltage is at least 50, more if you consider the series resistance...

Vertical position
The trace can be lost off the top or bottom of the screen. An auto center command for the vertical position would be useful for restoring it. Holding OK, like the auto center trigger, would be the obvious choice. When the trace is off the screen the top or bottom grid line does change color to let y...

Minor trigger level bug
This problem occurs after you auto-center the trigger level. If you do not hit the + or - button after this operation the new level is not stored. If you hit the reset button the trigger level will revert to the previous manual setting after the scope restarts.

Re: Triggering at 50ms per division and below
I have a question for gyro,
How frequently does the new version of the firmware lock up? I'm trying to decide if I should wait to update.
I have had the Chinese characters and JYEtech appear on the bottom of the screen one time.
I have version-061 firmware.
