Re: DSO Shell, slight Power Supply leakage into Meter. Norma
Thanks Jan..
I did get a new probe. The 1X works great. Just used it to nail down a failing TPMS sensor on the truck, which is too old to provide TPMS position data.
Havnt had a chance to work with and calibrate the 10X setting yet.

Re: DSO Shell, slight Power Supply leakage into Meter. Norma

Re: DSO Shell, slight Power Supply leakage into Meter. Norma
OK..So this is normal then?? I consider myself to be QUITE new to the world of Oscilloscopes(or as my kids say, O'SillyScope) since I haven't touched one in about 30 years.. Back then, just a big ole bench-top one with a green screen and a billion dials.. Anyways, thank you for taking the time to re...

DSO Shell, slight Power Supply leakage into Meter. Normal?
DSO Shell, slight Power Supply leakage into Meter when the probes are not connected to anything. Is this normal? If I use a 9V battery , .043 volts with no frequency is displayed on the scope. If I use a 9V AC-DC adapter , 500mv to 900mv and 50 to 60HZ is displayed. Same results with the probes disc...
