Hi I had the same trouble I was sent a newly designed bob 3 board which still did not rectify the problem my solution to this was to fit a small switch and break the battery connection which has solved the problem see the photos of mod regards

Hi my replacement BOB 3 arrived today and installed it now my scope will turn off in USB MODE BUT not in battery mode The same problem keeps rebooting, with the unit off and the battery and the USB connected the unit powers up normally and shuts down but unplug the USB and only battery connected it’...

Hi I have received my new BOB5 board and the scope is up and running again except I can not turn the unit off I have checked the connections to bob 3 and all is good, I can display all the menu’s select them all but for love o money I cannot turn the unit off this is the only thing left to do before...

Hi thanks for a prompt reply yes I can see the menu when switch 4 is pressed and I can scroll through the menu and have checked pin 4 of bob 3 and that is ok what happens is that when you try to turn it off all it does is reboot as I said the only way I can turn it off is by un plunging both the usb...

Hi all whilst still waiting for a replacement BOB 5 to come I can not turn off the unit from either the usb or the battery the only way I can switch it off is by unplugging the usb and the battery
Any help will be most welcome

Hi can you please tell me where I can get a replacement BOB5 whilst fitting the case which was a squeeze two components became dislodged one was the chip and the other a small smd device which was either a cap or resistor

Hi it only flashed briefly and then went out is this normal and when I plug the battery in it does not light up I saw on u tube that this led should illuminate
