Hi put BOB3 back. Check that you have JP4 And JP9 shorted. Check that JP2 is open after tests. If none of these help check with JYE1 as it could still be a BOB3 issue I think!

I'm no expert I have built 3 of these! Try checking BOB3 which is the power switch pcb check it's soldering and orientation.
If you come to the conclusion that it's faulty, contact JYE1.

This is normal. The code shown at the top right corner was a result of some internal check up.

Hi I've just entered my activation code from JYE and instead of FFFF in the top right corner during boot I now have BAD1 is there any significance for this?

Solved!!! Looking over the lcd connections and the main pcb It appears that when shorting JP1 and JP2 I had somehow unknown to me accidently shorted two of the pins of the micro with solder!!
