Re: Recommended DSO138 Kit Sellers
Is there an approved UK seller? I'm looking to buy a second scope, as the 138 only a single trace and I'm starting to need a second, as I progress with teaching myself electronics. I only ask as I have a very limited budget and I'm hoping that buying locally might save me a little money. Maxx http:...

Re: Sudden problem with trace and measurement readouts
There was no trace activity and the grid did not get redrawn. I have a UART-USB converter so tried reflashing the firmware (version 050 as before) and to my relief the scope is now working perfectly again. This is obviously a concern. What could I possibly have done to corrupt the firmware? It would...

Re: Sudden problem with trace and measurement readouts
I tried VPOS alignment. The display did not change. Looks just the same as my original description of the problem.

Sudden problem with trace and measurement readouts
My scope has been working fine since I built it about 4 weeks ago but I switched it on today and it has developed a fault. When powered on the trace line is horizontal across the bottom of the display grid. The vertical position indicator is also at the bottom. If I select the vertical position indi...

Re: DSO138 AC Coupling DC offset
I tried shorting the input on my recently built scope and Vmax flickers between just 1mV and 2mV.

Re: V- on TP25 is -10.42V
You may well be right davef since it seems to be working fine.
However, it would be good to get someone from JYE Tech to confirm it's ok and that we are not going to damage our scopes by this voltage being high.

V- on TP25 is -10.42V
I recently purchased a kit from AccuDIY as linked to from JYE Tech's website. Here's a photo to show it's genuine. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lvwvohbo46n85u9/DSC_4380.JPG?dl=0 The scope seems to be working fine with the onboard test signal. All voltages are very close to or exactly the same as the us...
