No trace when set to 1v

Hi

I first had the problem discussed here http://www.jyetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=459

Now I have no signal when the middle switch is set to 1v any combination of the top switch does not show the test signal.

I have the same problem, I have checked the values of C6 and C7, they are correct, any advice?

Do not attempt to measure live power directly.

Hi Please can someone explain this. In the manual it states Do not attempt to measure live power directly. Is this scope suitable for measuring voltage ripple on power supplies upto 12v DC? Does the above mean you can not connect it accross the + and - of the power supply? Sorry if this is a dumb qu...

Check your board first http://www.jyetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=511 . Seems that wrong value inductors are either common or a fact of life on the counterfeit boards. You would need an inductance meter. If you do have a counterfeit board perhaps the easiest option is to buy the correct ...

Hi All I assembled my kit yesterday Q1 was an 8550 and Q2 is 9014. I applied power to test voltage at TP22 (before soldering jp4) After a few seconds Q1 popped and part of the casing came away.
