I'd try a different power supply - the reading suggests the one you are using is not up to the job and is being dragged down as the 'scope starts.

Do a VPOS alignment as detailed in the instructions.

You can reposition the trace vertically using the + and - buttons when you have the vertical position indicator highlighted.

Similarly you can shunt it left and right when the horizontal position indicator is highlighted.

If I had one complaint with the unit it would have been the noise on the signal which they seem to have fixed so I'd really like to get hold of the new firmware. Mike, Glad you got it sorted - I had the same problem when I first got mine going and found it by accident. It made sense when I found it but, as it occurs when you first get the scope going, you immediately think it's something you've done when assembling the kit and you fire up the soldering iron!...

There's a post very early on http://www.jyetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=452 that's about the firmware but he also had a problem with one of the SEN switches that should help point you in the right direction.

I can't see that version on Jyetech's firmware page - perhaps it will get updated soon.
