Verifying Voltages
I have just assembled the kit version of this meter and am at the point of checking voltages. Most are okay but I'm unsure about V- and VS-. I have:- V- = -4.58V VS- = -4.54V Are these okay? The table doesn't have a minimum or typical value for these two voltages. Edit: Having taken a look at the sc...

Re: Scope stopped working
I'd try a different power supply - the reading suggests the one you are using is not up to the job and is being dragged down as the 'scope starts.

Re: Scope stopped working
I've noticed that my DSO138 does something similar since I upgraded to the latest (060) firmware. However all I do is start monitoring the target signal and the 'scope quickly starts displaying correctly. Have you tried this (from the 060 firmware changelog):- "Auto-center trigger level to the ...

Re: Probe calibration.
Do a VPOS alignment as detailed in the instructions.
You can reposition the trace vertically using the + and - buttons when you have the vertical position indicator highlighted.
Similarly you can shunt it left and right when the horizontal position indicator is highlighted.

Re: New kits - 13803/4K - F/W .050
Thank you for doing this. No need to apologise - you were just trying to protect your intellectual property which is perfectly understandable. I hope you win your battle with the counterfeiters. I have a number of Jyetech products and have enjoyed making/using them along with access to the great sup...

Re: New kits - 13803/4K - F/W .050
Luigi, I read the post and came to the same conclusion - if you have an older DSO138 you're stuck. If I had one complaint with the unit it would have been the noise on the signal which they seem to have fixed so I'd really like to get hold of the new firmware. I can sympathise to some extent with Jy...

Re: The zero line does not coincide with the line of the scr
Mike, Glad you got it sorted - I had the same problem when I first got mine going and found it by accident. It made sense when I found it but, as it occurs when you first get the scope going, you immediately think it's something you've done when assembling the kit and you fire up the soldering iron!...

Re: The zero line does not coincide with the line of the scr
I can't access my 'scope to double check but if I recall correctly you can reposition the trace vertically using the + and - buttons when you have the vertical position indicator highlighted.
Similarly you can shunt it left and right when the horizontal position indicator is highlighted.

Re: Problem with SEN1 switch
There's a post very early on http://www.jyetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=452 that's about the firmware but he also had a problem with one of the SEN switches that should help point you in the right direction.

Re: DSO138 Firmware Upgrade
I can't see that version on Jyetech's firmware page - perhaps it will get updated soon.
